Hoivatilat to develop a care home for Ikifit in Pirkkala
Hoivatilat and Ikifit Oy have signed a lease agreement for a new care home for elderly people to be developed in Pirkkala. The project has a legally valid building permit, and construction work has started on the site.
The care home on Pereensaarentie in Pirkkala will provide a total of 30 places for residents. Astora-Rakennus Oy is the main contractor for the project. The care home is scheduled for completion in November 2026. The investment is approximately EUR 4.5 million.
– The project has been developed in close cooperation with the authorities of the wellbeing services county of Pirkanmaa and the municipality of Pirkkala. The project makes efficient and responsible use of an undeveloped plot, bringing added value to the area through improved services, an attractive environment and the full utilization of the site. Particular attention has been paid to environmental sustainability and energy efficiency, says Mikko Yrtti, Project Development Manager at Hoivatilat.
