Hoivatilat to develop a new Mainiokoti for Mehiläinen in Oulu
Hoivatilat and Mehiläinen Hoivapalvelut Oy have signed a lease agreement for a new care home for elderly people to be developed in Oulu. The project has a legally valid building permit, and construction work has begun on the site. The property is scheduled for completion in autumn 2027.
The new Mainiokoti in Oulu will provide a total of 79 resident places. Arco Architecture Company Oy is responsible for the architectural design of the project, while Temotek Oy is the contractor. The investment is approximately EUR 11 million.
The elderly care home will be located at Mäkituvantie 7 in the suburb of Hintta in Oulu and will provide facilities for both 24/7 elderly care and communal housing. The care home will offer residents a safe, comfortable and accessible living environment, with nature close by and good transport connections.
