Hoivatilat to develop supported living facility for people with disabilities in Jyväskylä
Hoivatilat and Humana Suomi Oy have signed a lease agreement for a supported living facility for people with disabilities to be developed in Jyväskylä. The project has a legally valid building permit, and construction work has started on the site. The property is scheduled for completion in spring 2027.
The supported living facility, located on Linnantie in Jyväskylä, will have a total of 30 places. The facility will replace Humana’s existing units in Äänekoski. Arkitupa Oy is responsible for the architectural design of the building, and Pohjola Rakennus Oy is the contractor. The investment is approximately EUR 5 million.
– Close cooperation with Humana during the planning of the supported living facility enabled us to develop a winning proposal for the plot allocation competition. The detailed planning of the project progressed efficiently, with all parties committed to a shared goal. From the very beginning, there has been a strong spirit of cooperation between Humana, the City of Jyväskylä, the wellbeing services county of Central Finland and our partners,” says Joonas Illikainen, Account Manager responsible for the project development at Hoivatilat.
