New contracts worth approximately EUR 51 million for Hoivatilat
During the spring and the early summer, Hoivatilat has agreed on several new real estate projects across Finland. Two of these are service communities, one of these is a care home for the elderly, two for the disabled specialist care, one children’s home and one day care centre. The properties are in Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Oulu, Raahe, Lohja and Kempele. Construction will start during the year 2020 and the properties will be handed over to customers during the year 2021. The lease agreements lengths are 15-25 years and the total value of the leases is approximately EUR 51 million.
The properties will be implemented in accordance with the Hoivatilat premises as a service model. The investment-free lease model offers customers an effortless and sustainable alternative to their own investment. Hoivatilat remains as the long-term active owner of the properties.
” I’m really pleased that our customers have confidence in the future and to Hoivatilat. Korona has not eliminated the need for services and premises, now it is important to keep a positive mood in the society. To us, responsible ownership and partnership are very important. I am especially happy that more and more cities and municipalities are moving towards the lease model. The projects agreed during the spring include, for example, a day care centre in Hintta for the City of Oulu. Hoivatilat plan and construct new premises and take care of the maintenance of the building for the duration of the lease. The City of Oulu will lease the premises for 25 years”, says Jussi Karjula, CEO of Hoivatilat.
